EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Nolton J. Thibodeaux, Sr. announces his passing on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Oaklane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 84. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Nolton was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked all his life in the oilfield and enjoyed French dancing. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nolton will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him, especially his lifelong wife, Anna Lee B. Thibodeaux of Eunice six sons, Patrick J. Thibodeaux and wife, Carla of Mamou, Warren G. Thibodeaux and companion, Patty Bertrand of Eunice, Kenneth J. Thibodeaux and companion, Amy Holcombe of Covington, Mark A. Thibodeaux and wife, Lisa Fontenot Thibodeaux of Eunice, Billy J. Thibodeaux and wife, Rhiannon of Eunice, and Nolton J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and companion, Janet Menier of New Orleans two brothers, Elton J. Thibodeaux and wife, Pearl, and Newman Thibodeaux and wife, Jane Soileau Thibodeaux, all of Eunice sister, Ella Mae Fontenot and husband, Horace of Eunice twentytwo grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Corrine Guidry Thibodeaux brothers, Elzie, Effrey, Clinton, Vorace, and J.B. Thibodeaux sister, Joyce Thibodeaux and daughter inlaw, Jennifer F. Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, November 9th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, November 10th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
