EUNICEA wonderful aunt, sister-in-law, and friend, Nathalie Fontenot will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Nathalie known as Telee to all who knew her passed away on Monday, November 09, 2009 at the Eunice Extended Care Hospital at the age of 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 2:30 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Clint Trahan Celebrant.

Telee had an incredible life and will be forever cherished as a beloved Aunt to all the nieces and nephews she cared for who looked up at her as their mother and grandmother. In her early life she was an LPN and later in life did community service by volunteering at Oaklane. The things that brought Telee the most joy in her life were being with her family and friends, playing cards and fishing.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her sister-in-law, Ruth Manuel of Eunice; her nephews, Craig Manuel and his wife, Jackie, Johnny Manuel and his wife, Cheryl, and Dwayne Manuel and his wife, Pat all of Eunice; her niece, Janet Prudhomme and her husband, Butch of Eunice; her great nieces, Johnnie Ruth Naquin, Jessica Dischler, and Frankie Manuel; her great nephews, Shane and Michael Manuel, Eric and Garrett Manuel, Alex, Lathan, and Cole Prudhomme. Also mourning her loss is numerous great great nieces, nephews and friends.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved husband, L.J. Neg Fontenot; her parents, Louis and Lena Savoy Manuel and her brother, Johnny L. Manuel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, November 09, 2009 from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Monday evening.
