EUNICEA wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Myra Brown will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Myra known as Bea to all who knew her died peacefully on Thursday, September 08, 2011 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Nathan Comeaux Celebrant.

Beas greatest joys in life was spending it with her family especially her husband, L. B. Brown of Eunice her four sons, Bernard Brown, Jr. and wife, Betty, Mike Brown, Larry Brown and wife, Diane and John Brown and wife, Donna all of Eunice her brother, Brownie Duplechin of Eunice and her sister, Lillie Mae Maxie of Eunice. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and further blessed with six great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Wesley and Lillie Janot Duplechin.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, September 9th from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, September 10th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
