Basile - Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Basile for Mrs. Gilbert LeBlanc the former, Esther Nin Granger, 87, who passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Augustine Mausoleum with Fr. Bill Rogalla Celebrant.

Esther shared a business LeBlanc Appliance and Plumbing with her loving husband for 52 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert LeBlanc of Basile; three sons, Peter LeBlanc, Sr. of Basile, Robert Don LeBlanc of Basile, and Danny LeBlanc of Eunice; one daughter, Barbara Comeaux of Basile; one sister, Percy Duhon of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her sons, Richard Ambrose LeBlanc and Randall Timothy LeBlanc; a grandson, Gary Brent Comeaux; and her parents, Cyprien and Eliman Duplechain Granger.

The family request that visitation be observed at Ardoin Funeral Home in Basile on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and again on Friday from 7 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbeares for the services will be her grandsons, Peter LeBlanc, Jr., Paul LeBlanc, Chris Comeaux, Timmy LeBlanc, Spence LeBlanc, Cade LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Miller, Mitch Miller, Mark Miller. Readers will be her granddaughters, Vanessa Guillory, Kathryn LeBlanc, and Ashlyn LeBlanc. Other participates will be her daughters in law, Cheryl Vizena, Debbie LeBlanc, and Christine LeBlanc.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Basile is in charge of arrangements.
