EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Mordello G. Brud Hebert, Sr. announces his passing on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 72. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 03, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
Mordello, or Brud as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a retired heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, family outings, and had a knack for fixing things. Brud will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, fatherinlaw, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife, Christine Hebert of Vidor, Texas his nine loving children, Carissa Hebert of Eunice, Wendy Fullone and husband, Al of Chicago Illinois, Racheal Grimshaw and husband, Art of Bushnell, Florida, Jeffrey Hanson and wife, Rhonda of Boliver, Missouri, Brian Cheeks and wife, Krystal, Anastasia Hanson and Kevin Hebert and wife, Raina all of Vidor, Texas, Mordello G. Hebert, Jr and wife, Shashoney of Eunice, and Christopher Smith of Vidor, Texas his daughterin law, Glenda Hebert of Eunice his two brothers, Belvon Hebert and Warrick Mitchell Hebert both of Eunice three sisters, Gwindola Thomassee of Eunice, Magdalene Palmer of Franklin and Emeline Fay Stroder of Lafayette. He was a loving grandfather to sixteen precious grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Gerald and Virginia Brown Hebert his son, Wendell Hebert and a brother, Irwin Hebert.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, March 2nd from 12 noon until time of services on Monday, March 3rd. A Rosary will be recite at 6:30 pm Sunday evening.
