EUNICEIt is with sadness that the family of Mitchell J. Sliman announces his passing on Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Bundick with his family by his side. He was 89. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory.
Mitchell proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a retired operator for Tennessee Gas. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening but most of all he loved his family. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Roxanne Breaux and husband, Harlan of Holiday Isle, Arkansas his two step daughters, Rebecca Launey of Bundick and Lorraine Lewis and husband, Charles of Eunice nine grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Ena Sliman son, Nelby J. Sliman stepdaughters, Gwen Frick and Shirley Young and a grandson, Jack Reed.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm and again on Sunday, June 17th from 9:00 am until time of services.
