IOTA-A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church in Iota for Michael Henry Dietz who passed away on August 24, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Villa in Opelousas at the age of 63. Burial will follow in the Iota Protestant Cemetery with Pastor David Greene officiating.

Michael will be lovingly missed by his mother, Lola H. Dietz of Iota and his four brothers, August Dietz of Iota, Rodney Dietz of Bastrop, TX, Melvin Dietz of Iota and Edjes Dietz of Lake Charles.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved father, Samuel Henry Dietz.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
