EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice for Mazie Marie Fruge Troha, 78, who passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.

The Rev. Tom Voorhies, the Pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Ms. Troha, was a resident of Kinder and a homemaker.

Survivors include her three sons, Phillip James Troha and wife, Ruby, of Basile, Joseph Clarence Troha of Eunice, Robert David Troha of Scott; one step-son, Michael Wayne Ortego of Lake Charles; two daughters, Melisa Ione Troha of Kinder and Jessica Ann Troha of Eunice; eight grandchildren, Tammy A. Troha, Derek Troha, Cindy Bruce, Travis Troha, Terrel Troha, Katie Mussleman, Benjamin Fournet, and Jaycee Troha; two great-grandchildren, Connor Bruce and Catera Troha; and five step-grandchildren. Her life companion, Henry Ortego, of 27 years, also survived her.

Ms. Troha was preceded in death by her previous husband, Jesse JC-Poboy Troha; her mother, Alita Richard Fruge and father, Isreal Buck Fruge; one brother, Leroy Fruge; two sisters, Mavie LaFleur and Mary Moreau; one previous sister-in-law, Enola Ann Carrier Troha; one grandson, Jessie Joseph Troha; and one granddaughter, Wendy Kay Troha.
The family request that visitation hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday April 30, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m and again on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
