EUNICE-Funeral services for Maxie Rozas, 70, was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial in St. Paul Mausoleum.
Father Cedric Sonnier officiated.
Mrs. Maxie Rozas, a resident of Eunice, died at 8:34 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, LA. Mrs. Maxie was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband John Rozas of Eunice; two sons, Jerome Rozas and wife Donna of Eunice, Greg Rozas of Eunice; one daughter, Tricia Rozas of Eunice; seven grandchildren, Derrick Mott, Scott Rozas, Brandi Rozas, Katie Rozas Grametbaurer and husband, Rhett, Jacqueline Rozas, Jody Rozas and Casey Rozas and his wife, Erica, four great-grandchildren, Carlie Lane Rozas, Chandler, Roman and Nadiya, three brothers, Murry Ardoin and wife, Grace of Pine Prairie, Nolan Ardoin and wife, Ann of Carencro; two sisters, Myrtis Bogard of Pine Prairie, Adean Lafleur and husband, Charles of Pine Prairie.
Mrs. Maxie Rozas was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey and Lillian Deshotel Ardoin, one brother-in-law, Lou Ray Bogard, and a sister-in-law Jowella Ardoin.
Visiting hours were observed from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 and again on Saturday, June 24, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
A rosary was prayed a 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006.
Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
