EUNICEIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Catherine Reed on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 64. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Mary was a very hard worker and love to camp and fish. She loved people but most of all she loved her family which includes her son, John Duplechin and wife, Lisa of Eunice her two brothers, Phillip Reed of Ville Platte, Ricky Reed of Piqua, Ohio her three sisters, Sheryl Richardson of Mamou, Angela Mynarzy of Bayou Chicot and Sheila Ardoin of Ville Platte. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Amber Dupre and husband, Ben of Mamou and Brock Duplechin of Eunice.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Burkeman and Euna Courville Reed a son, Jason Duplechin and a sister, Jerelyn Burge.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Monday, July 30th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, July 31st from 9:00 am until time of services.
