EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 08, 2007 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice, for Mrs. Mary Anna OQuain, 66, who passed away on Thursday, January 04, 2007 at her residence.

The Rev. Tom Voorhies, Pastor of St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Savoy Cemetery.

Mrs. OQuain was a resident of Sulphur and a native of Eunice and also a very dedicated volunteer for American Red Cross where she specialized in Mass Care. She was an Auxiliary Member of Military Order of Purple Hearts, Chapter 1996.

Survivors include her husband, Alexion OQuain of Sulphur; her parents, Wilson A. Courville and stepmother Doye Courville of Eunice; a son, Wilson James OQuain of Sulphur; a daughter, Amy Chretien and husband, Anthony of Sulphur; a step-brother, Kevin Spell; four step-sister, Debbie Broussard, Linda Kibodeaux, Donna Kibodeaux, Cheryl Richardson; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her mother, Amie Fontenot Courville.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday, January 07, 2007 and will continue Monday, January 08, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego on Sunday evening at 7:00 pm.
