EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Mrs. Mary Lou Fontenot, 60, who passed away on Monday, February 19, 2007 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.

The Rev. Cedric Sonnier, Pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Mrs. Fontenot was a resident of Eunice and a homemaker and also a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Benny Fontenot of Eunice; a son, Brian Fontenot and wife, Debbie of Church Point; two daughters, Kelly Fontenot Godeaux and husband, Fabian of Chataignier, Holly Fontenot and fiance, Luke Ardoin of Eunice; one brother, Judson Ardoin and wife, Vergie of Eunice; one sister Nolia Fruge and husband, Lurnest of Mallet; one grandchild, Hailey Godeaux.

Preceded in death by her parents Kelly Johnson and Aline Prejean Johnson; a sister, Nellie Fruge.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 12:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and again on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 8:00 am until time of services. A prayer service will be held at 6: 30 pm and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
