EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Hedy Parent Frug announces her passing on Wednesday, April 07, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 67. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, April 09, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

Mary Hedy Parent Frug known as Hedy to all who knew her was an Registered Nurse for the local hospitals and Home Health Agencies for over 25 years. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life.

A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Hedy will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband, Herman J. Frug of Eunice her three sons, Brent Frug and wife, Jackie of Lakeland, FL, Michael Frug and wife, Geralyn of Prairieville, Scott Frug and wife, Candace of Denham Springs her brother, Weber Diddy Parent, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Duson one sister, Patricia Ardoin and husband, Kern of Mamou and the littlest joys of her life, her eleven grandchildren, Whitney, Hunter and Chelsea Frug, Drake, Patrick, Kelley Weber and Elliot Frug, Zachary, Grace, Eve and Charles Frug.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved parents, Weber and Freddie Parent, Sr.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, April 8th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, April 9th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Thursday evening.
