EUNICEOur mom, Mary Lee Rozas Duplechin passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 01, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte at the age of 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 02, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Entombment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Mausoleum with Father Darren Eldridge Celebrant.

Mary was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a most loving, caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Precious memories of her will remain forever in the hearts of her children and those who love her especially her son, James Weldon Duplechin and wife, Christine of Chataignier two daughters, Suzette Duplechin of Chataignier and Annette Duplechin of Sulphur and a sister, Natalie Rozas Ledoux of Hahnville. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Zac Duplechin and wife, Jeanette, Casey Duplechin, Luke Duplechin, Nikki OQuain and husband, Josh, Brooke D. Howard and husband, Paul, Brett Duplechin and wife, Erin and Paige Duplechin seven great grandchildren, Connor, Caitlin and Blaine Duplechin , Brantley Keith OQuain, Zoe and Hayes Howard and Andrew Colin Duplechin.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Herlin Duplechin a daughter, Stephanie Duplechin two sons, Keith and Andrew Duplechin parents, Fermin and Pazie Young Rozas, and a sister, Jane Lafleur.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, December 2nd from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 10:00 am Monday morning.
