EUNICE-A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 pm on Monday, August 18, 2008, at The New Hope Assembly of God in Eunice for, Helen Castille Richard, 58, who passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 in DeRidder. Burial will follow in the St. Edward Cemetery in Richard with Pastor Woody Gunnels officiating.

Helens children, grandchildren, family and friends were her life. Those of us, who have been blessed to have known her, loved her, laughed with her, and cried with her will cherish every moment of every day of every year that God has allowed us to share with her. We are grateful for the gift she will forever be to us. Helen is survived by two loving children, a son, Joseph Bobby Richard and his wife, Shannon of Lafayette and a daughter, Renee Bidez and her husband, Troy Bidez of DeRidder; two brothers, Abram Castille of Opelousas, Richard Castille of Eunice; four sisters, Margie Marcantel of Eunice, Mary Matte of Richard, Cathy LeJeune and Florence Matte both of Welsh; nine wonderful grandchildren, Dustin, Nick, Brydie, Josh, Celest, Troy, Victoria, Madison and Gabby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph John and Alzina Bourque Castille; two brothers, Hebert and Calvin Castille.

The family request that visiting hours begin on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services.
