EUNICE-A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 12 noon at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice for Mary C. Miller, 87, who passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. Rite of Committal will follow in the Miller Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Mary is survived by a son, Marcus Miller and wife, Lauran of Carrollton, Virginia; two daughters, Beverly Tyler and husband, Joe of Deville, and Cheryl Davis and husband, Lowell of Pineville; a brother, Adam Chaumont and wife, Bertha of Liberty, TX; a sister, Agnes McGee of Eunice; fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice J. Miller; her parents, Huey J. and Beatrice Miller Chaumont; and a son, Michael J. Miller.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
