EUNICE~ With the heaviest hearts the family of Mary Olive Brignac announces her passing on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Harbor Hospice of Lake Charles at the age of 93. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sonny Brown and Deacon Chuck Ortego, officiating.

Mary was a cosmetologist in her younger years and also loved flowers and enjoyed gardening and traveling. She devoted herself to the love and care of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her including her husband of 75 years, Kearnie Brignac of Eunice; her son, Danny Brignac and wife Kimi Kincy Brignac of White Castle; her daughter, Johanna Brignac Bordelon and husband, Brent Bordelon of Moss Bluff; sisters, Jackie Bollich of Lafayette, Sandy Brown of Opelousas, and Francil Matt of Eunice; grandchildren, Sarah Brignac, Seth Cobb, Chelsea Cobb Melancon, and Lance and Landon Turano; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Melancon, and Liam and Isla Cobb; as well as extended family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Mafie Guillory Brown; brothers, Fredrick Brown, Wilbur Brown, Don Ray Brown, and Larry Brown; and sisters, Louella Pitre, Jane Benson, Charlotte Brown, and Belle Fruge.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, October 31st from 10:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego on Monday at 12:00 noon.
