IOTAIt is with regret that the family of Marie Shin LeJeune announces her passing on the evening of Thursday, November 08, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father David Broussard Celebrant.

Marie, better known as Shin was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She was very positive and a devoted Christian. She will be missed dearly by her husband of 59 beautiful years, Roland Caddo LeJeune, Sr. of Iota and they were the proud parents of three children, two sons, Roland Joseph LeJeune, Jr. and wife, Jacinda of Sulphur, Michael Wayne LeJeune and wife, Bobbie of Columbus, TX a daughter, Phyllis Pousson and husband, Donald of Iota. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to six grandchildren, Naomi LeJeune Robinson, Blakelee Kibodeaux, Jason and Harley Pousson, Alicia and Sarah LeJeune and two great great grandchildren, Dillan and Damon Guidry.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Wesley and Lucia Miller Rachal three brothers, Horace, Alvin and Joseph Lois Rachal a sister, Christine Cart and a great grandson, Caleb Pousson.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Friday, November 9th from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 10th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
