Eunice-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 01, 2006, at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice, for Mrs. Maria L. Bergeron, 90, who died Saturday, September 30, 2006, at the Acadian Medical Center..
Interment will follow in the Richard Catholic Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier officiating.

Mrs. Bergeron was a resident of Eunice where she was a homemaker for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Bergeron; her parents; and two brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Relma June Gautreaux of Eunice; one sister, Verne L. Guidry of Morse; two grandchildren, Charles Buddy Lane and wife, Sheila of Eunice, Robert Lane and wife, Elsie of Iowa; three great-grandchildren, Hope Francis and husband, Terry, Jeffery Lane of Lafayette, Blaise Lane and wife, Dominique of Savannah, GA. Blaise is currently serving in Iraq; two great-great-grandchildren, Brianna and Ashton Francis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, October 01, 2006 from 8:00 am until time of services. A French rosary will be recited at 7pm Saturday.
