IOTAIt is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Murff Dawson announces her passing on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Southwind Nursing Center in Crowley at the age of 85. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota. Burial will follow in the Maxie Cemetery with Rev. Ronald LaCombe officiating.

Margaret was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and greatgrandmother who will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her especially her son, Barry L. Dawson and wife, Marion of Westlake daughter, Glenda Dawson Robinson and husband, Russell of Iota brother, Ralph D. Murff of Humble, TX sister, Rachel Sue Fawcett of Breaux Bridge five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Joe B. Dawson parents, Wallace and Ethel Hayes Murff and a brother, David Thomas Murff.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, January 13th from 8:00 am until time of services.
