EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, December 15, 2006 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice, for Madeline Darbone Hafer, 58, who passed away on December 11, 2006, at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital of Jacksonville, TX

The Rev. Stephen Ugwu, Pastor of St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton A. Ricky Hafer, Jr. of New Summerfield, Tx; three step- daughters, Rikki and Mandi Hafer of Morgan City, Michelle Scarborough of Petal, MS; one brother, Rayln Darbone of Eunice; three step- grandchildren and two step- great-grandchildren; numerous niece, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Hafer was preceded in death by her husbandDonald Shelton; parents Caston Darbone and Irene Gautreaux; a brother, Bernard Darbone.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 2:00 pm until 9:00pm Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Ardoins Funeral Home and again on Friday, December 15, 2006 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Thursday evening.
