EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 am, August 20, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice, for Ms. Lyuellen Daigle, 73, who passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Evangeline Extended Care in Mamou.

The Rev. Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery in Eunice.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ms. Daigle was the co-owner of Daigles Upholstery, working along side her husband for 30 years, and also was manager of the family farm.

Ms. Daigle is survived by her six sons, Darryl Daigle and wife, Roxanne of Eunice, Mark Daigle and wife, Rebecca of Eunice, Virgil Daigle and wife, Lynn of Eunice, Aaron Daigle and wife, Donna of Eunice, Anthony Daigle of Eunice, Matthew Daigle and wife, Sarah of Iota; three daughters, Brenda Daigle of Eunice, Louellen Vidrine and husband, Brent of Eunice, Nannette Alexander and husband, Stuart of Eunice; one brother, Warren Frey of Frey; two sisters, Lorraine Heinen of Hathaway, and Linda Campbell of Lemoyne; twenty one grandchildren, and twenty one great-grandchildren..

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Gerald Daigle; her parents, Harry and Annie Frey; a brother, Reggie Frey; godmother, Marie Zaunbrecher, a grandson, Brett Christopher Daigle; and a granddaughter, Cherrie Daigle.

The family request that visitation hours begin at 10:00 am on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and will be open all night until services Monday, August 20, 2007. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
