EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 23, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice with a rosary recited at 1:00 pm led by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

Lulu was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Cooney Brown of Eunice her father, Eugene Sabatier of Eunice her three sons, Boz Brown and wife, Andree of Crowley, Paul Brown and wife, Lisa and Terry Brown and wife, Auburn all of Eunice her three daughters, Susie Trappey and husband, Albert of Lafayette Leslie Brown of Eunice, Amy Johnson and husband, Eddie of Rayne her brother, Gene Sabatier and wife, Charlotte of Friendswood, TX her three sisters, Virginia Lowery, Cecy Fuselier and husband, Rod of Carencro and Claire White of Washington and the joys of her life her thirty grandchildren, Mark, Philip, Anna, Charlotte, Claire, Peter, Maria, Ellen, Natalie, Lydia, Valerie, David Paul, Drew, Jack, Henry, Clara, Sean Michael, Katie, Abby, Lucy, Gus, Alice, Helen, Mary Frances, Tim, Michael, Daniel, Emily Jane, Lauren and Brittany. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Now Lulu rests in Heaven with her beloved mother, Frances Fournet Sabatier.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions, love, prayers, visits and acts of kindness shown to us from our family and friends. A special thanks to the Prayer Group, Heart of Hospice, Eunice Community Home Health, Students and Faculty.
