BASILEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Luke LeJeune announces his passing on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital at the age of 63. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

Luke was a 1968 graduate of Basile High School and a 1972 graduate of USL and obtained his Masters from McNeese. He was retired from the Calcasieu Parish School System. Luke was a loving and giving person, a devout Christian, and his students were very special to him. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his Christan Brother and longtime companion, Ron Guidry of Moss Bluff his brother, J. D. LeJeune of Palm Beach, FL his sister, Jerrie LeBlanc of Rayne two nephews, Chris LeBlanc and wife, Celeste of Raleigh, N.C. and Barret LeBlanc and wife, Annie of Dallas, TX great nieces and nephews, Erin, Garrett, Luc, Eli and Vivian LeBlanc.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Clifton and Hazel Duplechin LeJeune.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile on Friday, December 20th from 10:00 am until time of services.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 381019929.
