BASILE-Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile for Mrs.Lovenia LaFosse, 80, who died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at the Basile Care Center.

Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery with Father Ken Dominque officiating.

Mrs. LaFosse was retired from the Basile Police Department. She wasknown around the Basile community as everyones grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Marietta LaFosse of Lafayette, Anthony Larry LaFosse and wife, Theresa of Basile, Catherine Chaisson of Basile; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward LaFosse and a son, David Wayne LaFosse.
Visitation will begin Friday, October 20, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, October 20, 2006. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.
