EUNICE-A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 10:30 am in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Lorraine Young Manuel, 87, who passed away on Monday, November 10, 2008 at Metairie Healthcare of Metairie, LA. Burial to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Lorrainess children, family and friends were her life, survived by one daughter, Vida Peterson of Kenner, LA; three grandchildren, Lesha, Danielle, and Mel; eight great grandchildren, Alli, Corey, Madison, Marissa, Morgan Shawn, Austin, and Ethan; and two nieces, Dorothy Tee Summerlin and Jeanette Dequir, both of Eunice. Lorraine will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Allie J. Manuel; parents, Duval and Elena Young; one brother, Bill Young; and two sisters, Sadie Rougeau and Edith Ransom.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until Services.
