EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorina M. Guillory announces her passing on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat Celebrant.

Lorina was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She enjoyed being in her yard seeing about her flowers and her garden. She enjoyed life and her happiest times were spent creating memories with friends and family. Lorina was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her especially her three daughters, Vergie Mae Lanclos and husband, Murphy of Opelousas, Judy A. Eastin and husband, Michael of Eunice and Katherine Marie Landry of Lafayette a brother, Dudley Manuel of Eunice five sisters, Esther Pitre of Opelousas, Gertie Dejean of Maine, Berlina Domingue of Georgia, Leldia White of New Orleans, and Mary Jane Briscoe of Opelousas. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and thirty five great great grandchildren as well as a beloved aunt to nieces and nephews.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Euzebe Guillory parents, Eulice and Marie Johnson Manuel brothers, Murphy and Hately Manuel and a sister, Tessie Andrepont.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, March 27th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, March 28th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
