EUNICEIt is with regret that the family of Lonice P. Miller announces his passing on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Summerwood Nursing Home in Crowley. He was 72. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:30 pm Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Monsignor Robert Romero officiating.

Lonice serviced his country proudly in the United States Army and was as well as a mechanic in the oilfield offshore. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him especially his two daughters, Kim Richard and Paige Lavergne both of Carencro his four step daughters, Brenda Fontenot and husband, Brent of Breaux Bridge, Gwen Kirby and husband, Dennis of Denham Springs, Cheryl Israel and husband, Clienus of Eunice and Cindy Brown and husband, Randy of Plaisance his brother, Vernon Primeaux of Lumberton, TX his sister, Priscilla Edwards of Arkansas. Also mourning his loss is his three loving Aunts and numerous step grandchildren.

He now rests in Heaven with his companion, Joyce McDaniel step great grandson, Acel McDaniel, Jr. his father, Robert Lavergne and his mother, Eva Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, February 29th from 10:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:00 pm.
