IOTA~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lola Fern Hebert Dietz announces her passing on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Jeff Davis Living Center with loving family by her side. She was 86. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church in Iota. Burial will follow in the Iota City Cemetery with Rev. David Greene officiating.

Lola was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her three sons, August Sheldon Dietz of Jennings, Rodney Charles Dietz of Bastrop, TX and Edjes Ray Dietz of Lake Charles and one sister, Lilly Comeaux of Tee Mamou.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Henry Dietz; and two sons, Michael Henry and Melvin James Dietz.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Iota on Saturday, February 21st from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Sunday, February 22nd from 9:00 am until time of services.
