EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Lois Totsie Marie Sattler Babineaux announces her passing on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. She was 75. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, October 01, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Lois also known as Totsie to all who knew her was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. Lois enjoyed reading, shopping, cooking for her grandchildren and enjoyed serving her St. Thomas More Church community. She will be remembered by her loving husband of 56 years, Rolan Bo Babineaux of Eunice her son, Kevin Babineaux and wife, Donna of Eunice her two daughters, Chris Rhodus and husband, Jack of Prairieville and Mindy Turner and husband, Randy of Eunice three brothers, Donald Sattler of Eunice, Loubert Sattler and wife, Jessie of Kinder, James Buddy Sattler and wife, Lita of Eunice. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Trey Turner and wife, Jessica, Seth Turner, Stuart Turner, Meghan Babineaux, Clay Babineaux, Jillian Babineaux, Camille Rhodus, Adam Rhodus, and Bruce Rhodus.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Curry and Lydia Sattler sister, Sis Frey brothers, Phillip, Kelly and Richard Sattler.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, September 30th from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, October 1st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:30 pm Sunday evening.
