EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 04, 2006, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Mr. Linus Moreau, Sr., 80, who died Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro.

Interment will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Father officiating.

Mr. Moreau was a native of Eunice and a resident of Breaux Bridge where he was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was a loving father and a great family provider who enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing.

Survivors include his four sons, Leonard Moreau of Breaux Bridge, Darrell Moreau of Carencro, Linus Moreau, Jr. and wife, Tanya of Lafayette, Jody Moreau and wife, Eva of Carencro; three daughters Sandy Moreau and, Delton of Youngsville, Rebecca Melancon and husband, Gerald of Carencro, Valerie Moreau of Santa Cruz, NM; three sisters, Leona Guillory and husband, Meonce of Basile, Agnes Guillory of Basile, Eula Mallett of Lacassin; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

His wife, Norma Fern LeJeune Moreau preceded him in death

Visitation will begin Friday, November 03, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 04, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.
