EUNICE A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated at 3 pm Friday, January 12, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice, for Ms. Linda Marie Mumphrey, 57, who passed away at 2:35 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Eunice Manor.

The Rev. Tom Voorhies will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, La.

Ms.Mumphrey was a resident of Eunice, who loved reading, watching television shows, listening to country music, and children.

Survivors include her parents, Dr. Anthony and Amelia Toot Robert Mumphrey; four brothers, Scott Mumphrey and wife, Suzanne of Indianapolis,Indiana, Ray Anthony Mumphrey and wife, Vera of Baton Rouge, Michael Louis Mumphrey and wife, Kaprice of Baton Rouge, Robert Neil Mumphrey and wife, Amber of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Peggy Broussard of Gonzales, Robbie Savoy and husband, L.D. of Eunice, Terri Fuselier and husband, Jerry of Eunice; twelve nephews and nieces; nine great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her extended family and friends from the Eunice Manor Nursing Home.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 5 pm until 9 pm Thursday, January 11, 2007, and will continue from 8 am until time of services Friday, January 12, 2007, with a rosary to be recited Thursday at 7 pm.
