EUNICEA wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Linda L. Miller will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda died peacefully on the morning of Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 69. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery with Pastor Gregory Gaspard officiating.

Linda was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She was very much loved by her son, Ashton Tunny Miller, Jr. and wife, Tina of Eunice her daughter, Keashea M. Cormier and husband, Patrick of Eunice her two brothers, Freeman LaVergne of Carencro, Nolton LaVergne of Opelousas a sister, Therese Richard of Bridge City, TX. Linda was blessed with five grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan Gauthier, Olivia Benoit, Leah M. Daigle and Lacy M. Murphy and further blessed with three great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Ashton Miller parents, Willie Black and Helen LaVergne grandson, Ricky J. Miller a brother, Hubert LaVergne and a sister, Mary Nita Vidrine.

At the request of the Miller family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, January 30th from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, January 31st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
