BASILE-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006, at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Basile for Mr. Lincoln Link Chapman, 73, who died November 24, 2006, at his residence.

Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile with Fr. Ken Dominique officiating.

Mr. Chapman was a native of Basile and a resident of Broaddus, Texas. He was a retired Field Supervisor of Halliburton.

Survivors include his wife, Barbriella L. Chapman; one son, Lowell K. Chapman and wife, Leslye of Carencro; two daughters, Jackie Lindsay and husband, Jim of Lufkin, TX. Yolande Paiz and husband, Robert of Sugarland, TX; one brother, Ray Chapman and wife, Jeannie of Basile; two grandsons, Gerrit Chapman, Christopher Paiz; one great-granddaughter, Dani Spillman; numerous nephews.

His parents and sister preceded him in death, Sabria and Mabel Chapman; Welda Jane.

Visitation will begin Saturday, November 25, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, November 26, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening.
