EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lillie Aline Marcontell Wagner announces her passing on the evening of Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Acadian Medical Center with loving family by her side at the age of 88. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Big Woods Cemetery with Pastor James "Buddy" Hampton officiating.

She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She enjoyed church, spending time with family and cooking. But most of all she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, especially her two daughters, Lewana Wagner Cooper and husband, Kenneth, and Carla Wagner Soileau and husband, Greg, all of Eunice; two grandchildren, Shelley Soileau Savoy and husband, Toby and Gregory "Stormy" Soileau, Jr. and wife, Allie all of Eunice; and her ten great grandchildren, Seth, Zachary, and Tanner Cooper of Ragley, Adam, Jacob, Gracie, and Jack Savoy all of Eunice; Jaedyn, Karleigh, and Colt Soileau all of Eunice and a great step granddaughter, Mallory O'Brien of Eunice.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman Wagner, Jr.; parents, Albert and Martha Brackin Marcontell; six brothers and three sisters; and grandson, David Chad Cooper.

Pallbearers will include Gregory "Stormy" Soileau, Jr., Toby Savoy, Seth Cooper, Zachary Cooper, Adam Savoy and Jacob Savoy.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, April 24th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Saturday, April 25th from 8:00 am until time of services.
