BASILEThe family announces with sorrow the death of Lillie Mae Pelloquin on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. She was 92. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Brian Taylor Celebrant.

She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family as well as a member of the St. Augustine Alter Society. Lillie Mae was the beloved mother of Jimmie Pelloquin and wife, Barbara of Basile and Jane Fruge and husband, James Raphael of The Woodlands, TX. Lovingly remembered by her sister Betty Ardoin of Eunice. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Lillie leaves a wonderful legacy of love and care, especially for her loving family.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Adras and Thelma Stroderd Young her husband, Sidney Pelloquin and her brother, Clarence Young.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Sunday, March 14 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, March 15 from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Brian Taylor will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
