EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Lillie D. Maxie announces her passing on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 91. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Lillie was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Registered Nurse all of her life. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her brother, Brownie Duplechin of Eunice five nephews two nieces and many great nephews, great nieces, and other family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.S. Maxie son, Spencer Maxie parents, Wesley and Lillie Janot Duplechin and sister, Myra Bea Brown.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, July 21st from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 10:30 am Monday morning.
