EUNICE A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Lillie M. Hebert will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lillie died peacefully on the morning of Monday, May 12, 2014 at Eunice Extended Care Hospital. She was 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat Celebrant.
Lillie was a lunchroom worker for Eunice Jr. High for 30 years and loved working in her community. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church teaching religion for 20 years, member of the Ladies Altar Society, sewed and baked for the bazarre for many years as well as the Mardi Gras Group. She volunteered at Eunice Manor Nursing Home as an aid in various areas. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her three sons, Gregory Hebert and wife, Kate of Eunice, Randall Hebert and wife, Brynne of The Woodlands, TX and Dana Hebert and wife, Cindy of Eunice one sister, Mary Miller Lanthier of Eunice. The joys of her life her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, James Hebert her parents, Augustine and Louise Daigle Miller five brothers, Constant, Claude, Zan, Nat and Phillip Miller a grandchild and one great grandchild.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, May 14th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, May 15th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
