EUNICEA wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Lillie Mae Fontenot Courville will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lillie passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She was 84. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Lillie was a homemaker and devoted her life to the love and care of her family. She loved to cook and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her favorite pastime was playing tennis until the age of 79. Lillie was a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Garden Club, Pink Lady Society, Domino Chicks, and the Red Hat Ladies. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her son, Claude Jimmy Courville and wife, Carolyn of Eunice three daughters, Mona Bertrand and husband, Willis, Myrna Miller and husband, Garrett, all of Eunice, and T.C. Sittig and husband, Scott of Lake Charles. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren, Clay, Millie, Jason, Brett, Lee, Wesley, Alex, Vivian, Kristin, Kody, Kayla and Kourtney and sixteen great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Claude Courville son, Jeffrey Courville parents, Theozime and Maye Savoy Fontenot brother, Theogene Fontenot sister, Lillian Blanchard and granddaughters, Amanda Lucille Courville and Kathryn Claire Courville.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, April 29th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, April 30th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening by Deacon David Guillory.
