EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 02, 2006, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Mrs. Lillia LeDoux Leger, 100, who died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at her residence.

Interment will follow in the St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Richard with Father Cedric Sonnier officiating.

Mrs. Leger loved flowers, but was known mostly as a great mothergrandmother and a wonderful religious prayer leader.

Visitation will begin at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice, Wednesday, November 01, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 02, 2006, at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Survivors include two sons, Shelton J. Leger of San Antonio, TX; Dr. Lubert J. Leger and wife, Pearlie of Houston, TX; one daughter Madeline M. McGee and husband, Remie, Jr. of Church Point; a sister-in-law, Marilyn V. Leger of Hamshire, TX ; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Leger; son, Allen R. Leger; three brothers, Joachim, Melvy, Lee LeDoux; four sisters, Blanche Daigle, Beatrice Comeaux, Thelma Daigle, Amy Miller; a daughter-in-law, Helen Leger.
