EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:30 pm on August 25, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Chataignier for Liam Joseph McDavid who passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at his residence at the age of 6 weeks old.

Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Father Mike Champagne Celebrant.

Liam is the son of Joseph and Laura Godeaux McDavid of Chataignier. Liam experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his family, and being told I love you an uncountable amount of times. He is loved by all who met him, and will be greatly missed. Liam is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy; his two big brothers, Ethan and Austin McDavid and his two big sisters, Madelyn and Ava McDavid all of Chataignier; his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Linda Godeaux of Lawtell; his paternal grandparents, Gail and Lula McDavid of Chataignier; his maternal great-grandmothers, Ester Faul of Lawtell and Rose Godeaux of Swords; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Chataignier from 1:30 pm until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 3:00 pm.
