EUNICE-Funeral Services will be Celebrated on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 10:00 am at North Eunice Baptist Church in Eunice for Letitia Gotreaux Bergeaux, who passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital, at the age of 79. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Travis Turner officiating.

Letitia will be remembered as one who enjoyed baking for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Allen Cowboy Bergeaux of Tee-Mamou; one son, Donald Fontenot and wife, Jean of Basile; one daughter, Sue Cormier and husband, Jimmy of Eunice; ten grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Marianna Arnaud Gotreaux; seven brothers, Burkman Gotreaux, Oliver Gotreaux, Raymond Gotreaux, Ben Gotreaux, Lucien Gotreaux, Paul Gotreaux, and Louis Gotreaux; five sisters, Margaret Fuselier, Yola Fuselier, Lousiania Hebert, Bertha Lejeune, and Argentine Gotreaux.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
