EUNICEA wonderful, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, Lelia P. Dupre will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lelia died peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Eunice Manor surrounded by her loved ones. She was 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier, Celebrant.

She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons, Bobby James Dupre and wife, JoAnn, Philip Dupre and wife, Anita, Daniel Francis Dupre and wife, Elena, and Raphael Dupre and wife, Tracie all of Eunice her daughter, Sherry Dupre Courville and husband, Glenn of Maurice her brother, Clifton Prudhomme of Swords her sister, Iris Aguillard of Eunice her five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one step grandchild.

Lelia now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Francis Dupre her daughter, Gwen Wood her parents, William and Orphize Janice Prudhomme and her grandson, Matthew Wood.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, October 22nd from 11:00am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, October 23rd from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
