IOTA-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday, August 09, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Larry Lee Lakes Miller, Sr, 59, who passed away on Thursday, August 07, 2008 at his residence. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Tepetate with Monsignor DeBlanc Celebrant.

A much loved husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and grandfather, Larry is survived by his lovely wife Janell S. Miller of Iota; a son, Larry Lee T-Lakes Miller, Jr. of Iota; a sister, Lanell S. Regan and husband, Jeff of Iota; a brother, Patrick Miller of Mermentau; a sister, Henrietta Pouchie Miller of Iota; and thirteen grandchildren. All who knew and loved him will miss lakes.

His parents, Alfin and Elvena Pousson Miller; his brother, Preston Miller; and his sister, Catherin CoCo Courville, preceded him in death.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Friday, August 08, 2008 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 09, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. Friday evening a Rosary will be recited a 7:00 pm.
