Larry Fontenot, Sr

IOTA~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Fontenot, Sr. announces his passing on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Acadia General Hospital at the age of 72. At the family request a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Larry served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion and he loved to fish and hunt. He was a loving father and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his two children, Larry Fontenot, Jr and wife, Christy of San Antonio and Angela Guidry and husband, Todd of Frisco, TX; his four grandchildren, C.J. Fontenot, Jamie Guidry, Jordan White, Jude Guidry and one great grandchild, Rory Pardun.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Cecelia Miller Fontenot and a brother, Harry Lee Fontenot.
