EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece and friend, Kyra Ann Fruge on January 14, 2012 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 7. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, January 16, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Kyra was a first grade student at Glendale Elementary and had a love for music, butterflies and mardi gras beads. Her presence with her father, mother and her family will forever be in their hearts. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving father, Jonas Paul Fruge, her loving mother, Michelle Gradney both of Eunice maternal grandparents, Lorella Ray of Houston and Raylin Chapman of Opelousas her paternal grandparents, Donald and JoAnn Fruge of Eunice. She was also the niece to Rachael Habetz of Lafayette, Eric Fruge of Lafayette, Elliot Fruge of Turkey Creek, Joshua Fruge of Eunice, Tina Martel of Cecelia and R.J. Chapman of Ville Platte.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, January 15th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, January 16th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
