EUNICEKenny Atchison, who was 48, passed away on Friday, September 05, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner with loving family by his side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 08, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Richard. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Father Wayne Duet Celebrant.

A proud retired veteran, Kenny served in the United States Navy. He was the beloved husband of Jill Atchison of Eunice loving father of three children, Vivian, Garrett and Reagan Atchison all of Eunice dear brother to Chad Atchison of Mamou, Lisa Lopez of Indio, CA, Candice Atchison and Kristi Brassseaux both of Eunice loving soninlaw to Al and Barbara Klein of Eunice and lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marie Atchison and a brother, Kevin Atchison.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, September 7th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, September 8th from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
