EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Ann Leger announces her passing on the morning of Monday, September 23, 2013 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 56. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at St. Thomas Chapel in Savoy. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Wayne Duet Celebrant.

Kathleen loved camping, dancing, music, hunting, and cooking, but most of all she was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved her family especially her mother, Nettie Ann Leger of Eunice her son, Travis Joseph Bertrand and wife, Lacey of Eunice and a sister, Debbie Ann Dayton and husband, Bob of Lake Charles. The two joys of her life her grandchildren, Gavin and Kaiydence Bertrand of Eunice. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved daughters, Candace Marie, Amber Dawn, and Sarah Ann Bertrand her son, Dustin John Bertrand her father, Israel Eldon Leger and her brother, Michael Leger.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 25th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, September 26th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Wednesday evening.
