IOTA-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 1:00 pm for Katherine N. Cart, 71, who passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at her residence. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Josephs Mausoleum with Father Mikel Polson Celebrant.

Mrs. Cart was a hairdresser and also an Air force Veteran of the Korean War.

A Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Cart is survived by her son, Gregory Cart of Lafayette; four daughters, Cynthia Kyle of Fayetteville, AR., Yvette C. Foreman and husband, Mike of Lafayette, Renee C. Odom and husband, Bill of Woodworth, Elizabeth C. Mere and husband, Trent of Lake Charles; three brothers, Chris Nielsen of Honolulu Hawaii, Fred Nielsen of Midland AR., Joe Nielsen of Booneville, AR; one sister, Frances McIntire Kinard of Tupelo, MS; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Knut Hans and Serena Marcussen Nielsen, her husband, Hilary Cart; two grandsons, Cody and Stefan Cart.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota from 12 noon until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
