EUNICEA loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Julian will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Julian passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Cornerstone Hospital of Southwest LA in Sulphur, at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park in Ville Platte with Father Cedric Sonnier as Celebrant.
Julian was a homemaker and loved cooking and taking care of her family. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a Gold Star Mother. She also enjoyed puzzles and playing bingo and her family will dearly miss her witty and comical personality. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved daughters, Linda Thibodeaux of Sulphur, Ellen Vidrine of Ville Platte, and Darlene Vidrine of Grayson her five grandchildren, Tina Davis and husband, Chauncey, Kimberley Ludlow and husband, Harold, Jeremy Theriot, Alexis Fontenot, and Kourtney Vidrine and her four great grandchildren, Lainie Davis, Shannen Theriot, Bailey Ludlow, and Tyson Theriot.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Godwin Vidrine son, Terrel Vidrine parents, Theobert and Elizabeth Andrepoint Daville four brothers, Doris, Avence, Valentine Bob and Milton Daville five sisters, Leta Boone, Mary May Carrier, Vernice Brown, Leola Lopez and Hazel Dupre and son in law, Albert Thibodeaux.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, October 17th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, October 18th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
